Nethlie Jinius was born on June 12, 1977, in the small village of Port-de-Paix, Haiti. Raised by a single mother alongside her younger brother, she experienced an important transition early in life when her mother left Haiti for America in search of greater opportunities for her children.

Nethlie later joined her mother in the United States, attended Nautilus Middle School, and graduated from Miami Beach Senior High School in Florida. During her junior year of high school, she became a mother and later married. She is the proud mother of a daughter and a son, whom she considers her greatest joys. More recently, she experienced the loss of her husband, who went home to be with the Lord.

Her journey has been sustained by a deep relationship with God and the companionship of the Holy Spirit. Although she enjoys singing, reading, and writing, her greatest passion is studying Scripture and sharing its truth with others.

Through Formed in Christ, Nethlie fulfills her desire to edify the body of Christ and help readers open their hearts to genuine spiritual transformation.
